John Bischoff, bass, has been privileged to sing with some of the country's finest choral ensembles including Chanticleer, the Dale Warland Singers and the Oregon Bach Festival Chorale and is excited to be singing for the first time with AVE.  This year, John is also appearing on stage with Pacific Repertory Opera (Zuniga in Carmen), West Bay Opera (Daland in Der fliegende Holländer) and Berkeley Opera (the Sacristan in Tosca). In addition to singing, John has worked as a public radio journalist and a teacher of English and voice.  He spends much of his free time creating and consuming desserts.
