Soprano Jennifer Elaine Young sings with several Bay Area choruses,
including the American Bach Soloists and AVE. During the 2004-2005 season she sang as a member of San Francisco Choral Artists with conductor Magen Solomon. A fanatical art song advocate, Jennifer has sung in numerous recitals in Boston and the Bay Area. Other appearances include the role of Josephine in Gilbert and Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore with the Somerville Community Chorus, the title role in the Boston premiere of Giovanni Bononcini's baroque opera, The Triumph of Camilla,
and a role in the Newton Symphony's concert production of Puccini's
Madama Butterfly. Jennifer came to the Bay Area from Boston, where she
earned a Master of Music degree with distinction in Vocal Performance
from the Longy School of Music and an AB cum laude in Music from Harvard University.
