Neal Rogers has been a prominent figure in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene for many years, having performed with nearly every major ensemble. He has also performed a number of solo recitals and master classes in colleges throughout California. For ten years Rogers was a member of Chanticleer, a twelve voice male a capella vocal ensemble, performing throughout the United States and Europe, as well as numerous recordings. For several years Mr. Rogers taught voice at the University of California, Davis, where he was also engaged as a soloist in many university concerts. Mr. Rogers has performed with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, American Bach Soloists, Magnificat, Theatre of Voices, California Bach Society, San Francisco Bach Choir, Sonoma County Bach Chorus, and has recorded with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, American Bach Soloists, Theatre of Voices, Magnificat, organist John Butt, Hausmusik, California Bach Society and Pacific Mozart Ensemble. Other groups he has appeared with include the Sacramento Chamber Orchestra, Baroque Choral Guild, Pacific Mozart Ensemble, Donald Pippin’s Pocket Opera and the San Francisco Chamber Singers, to name a few. Mr. Rogers has recorded on the Harmonia Mundi, Nonesuch, Koch International, Guidonian, Lyrachord, Teldec and Chanticleer labels. After a brief hiatus, Neal is glad to be back singing in the Bay Area.
