Celeste Winant maintains an active performing schedule with numerous chamber vocal and early music ensembles throughout the Bay Area, notably the Pacific Collegium, St. Ann Consort, the UC Berkeley Chamber Chorus and Vox Populi Vocal Ensemble. Her voice has been described as a “true rich alto” by San Francisco Classical Voice. She has studied with Paul Flight, Jennifer Lane and Marika Kuzma, and has participated in select masterclasses with Julianne Baird and Ellen Hargis.. She has been invited to sing with the Cabrillo Music Festival Chorus and recently appeared in the Mills College double-bill production of Gustav Holst's Savitri and Darius Milhaud's Les Malheurs d'Orphée.
